The collective model of the nuclear icebreaker Leonid Brezhnev, production of the USSR. November 10, 1982 died L.I. Brezhnev. According to the decision of the Central Committee of the CPSU, it was decided to perpetuate the memory of L.I. Brezhnev. There is a version that due to a typo in the decree, the name was assigned not to the icebreaker under construction, but to the one in operation, and in the period from 1982 to 1986, the icebreaker Arktika was named "Leonid Brezhnev", instead of the icebreaker under construction, which was later named "Soviet Union". It was in the period from 1982 - 1986 that this model was released. State in the photo.
