Antique paired miniature "Sheep" (Porcellana, Thuringia/Staffordshire, XIX century) These are not just figurines, but items with a living history, made at the end of the 19th century in one of the famous German manufactories (Thuringia) for the European market. Technique "Confetti" (Confetti porcelain): Rune sheep has a unique grainy texture, which was created by hand from small crumbs of clay before baking. Now such technology is no longer used, which makes the figures collectible. True antique: At the bottom of each figure there is an authentic pressed serial brand of the model, hidden under a thick layer of glaze, as well as a noble craquelure (a tiny grid of time), which confirms their respectable age (over 100 years). Traditionally, in the Victorian era, such couples decorated the stone shelves, symbolizing harmony and peace in the house. Parameters:Length: 8 cmHeight: 4 cmMaterial: Porcelain, glaze, hand-painted. Station: Excellent collectible preservation for your age! Without chips, cracks or restorations. There are natural minimal abrasions of paint, which only add a special charm to the figurines and confirm authenticity.
