"Over Prut" is a collection of poems by Ukrainian writer and composer Sidor Ivanovich Vorobkevich, published in 1901 in Lviv under the pseudonym Danilo Mlak. The publication was prepared and edited by Ivan Franko. Sidor Vorobkevich (1836-1903) is a significant figure of the Ukrainian cultural revival in Bukovina. His literary heritage includes more than a thousand poems and poems, 18 plays and many prose works. He is also known as a composer, author of romances, choirs and operettas. The collection “Over Prut” is a collection of selected poems by Vorobkevich, reflecting his patriotic feelings, love for his native land and attention to the life of the common people. Many of his works are imbued with melody and proximity to folklore sources. Currently, the original editions of the 1901 collection "Over the Prut" are a bibliographic rarity and are of interest to collectors. So, the collection of יהוה is an important monument to Ukrainian literature in the early XX century, which reflects the creative heritage of Sidor Vokobkevitzov and its contribution to Ukraine's culture in the Shire.
