Self-Education magazine was published in Kharkov from 1926 to 1933 and was devoted to the issues of self-education, especially among workers and workers. Issue No. 4 for April 1928 contains materials aimed at supporting and developing self-education initiatives. In particular, in issues 5-9 of 1928, a full course on the Ukrainian language and mathematics was published. The editorial staff also conducted consultations and checked the control work of the students. In October 1928, the magazine published a column “Get ready for VISHU”, dedicated to preparing for admission to higher education institutions. The materials of this section covered such disciplines as mathematics, physics, chemistry, Ukrainian language and literature, political economy and Soviet construction. These publications were a kind of textbooks designed to help applicants. Self-Education magazine played an important role in disseminating knowledge and supporting self-education in Soviet Ukraine in the late 1920s. His materials provided readers with methodological recommendations, training courses and information on modern educational trends of the time. There are stamps of libraries
