Artists Nardon and Lafarge in 1948 opened their own porcelain manufactory and decoration studio, where they produced exquisite services. The French municipality of Limoges has been known for its decorative industry since the Middle Ages. Since the beginning of the XIX century, when a kaolin mine was opened nearby, Limoges became one of the world's centers for the production of porcelain products and even competed with the royal manufactory Sévres. On the territory of the municipality there are many factories, studios and shops specializing in porcelain. The prison looks like a soup bowl, but there is a small difference. This is an oval and deep vessel with a low luxuriously decorated lid for stews and soups.
