Review: A rare scientific publication in 1878 edited by the prominent anthropologist A.P. Bogdanov, containing the protocols of preparation for a large-scale Anthropological exhibition. The work is of great importance for the history of archeology, as it describes in detail the collection of craniological and ethnographic materials from all over the empire (in particular, reports on the excavations of ancient mounds), some of which are geographically related to the territories of modern Ukraine.
