A real bookish rarity - a lifetime children's edition of poems by the famous poet Alexander Tvardovsky "On the Ice". Released by the Western Regional State Publishing House (OGIZ-ZAPGIZ, Smolensk) in 1936. Original color illustrations by the artist E. N. Taras. Smolenskaya printing house named after Smirnov. A small regional circulation (50 000 copies), which is practically not preserved to our time in good condition. A completely original copy in the native collection to replenish the collection of pre-war children's bookish.

On the cover and inside pages there are small neat old inscriptions and signatures of the owner by hand ("Alfred Potashkova...").
