In front of the family - a table with twelve dishes: cute, dumplings, pampuhs, fish and other traditional treats, as well as garlic heads - a protector from evil spirits. Description of the obverse On the obverse of the coin in the center of the composition there is a stylized image of a straw grandfather - a traditional attribute of Ukrainian Christmas (the element of decoration is local gilding). The basis of the grandfather is decorated with a straw angel, symbolizing protection and good news. The background of the composition is divided into two planes, reminiscent of a window illuminated by the light of the stars on Christmas Eve.
