Collectible breastplate academic sign (the so-called "rhombus") of a graduate of a Soviet higher education institution (university). Brass, hot enamels! In the center of the sign there is a gilded coat of arms of the USSR, in the lower - an overhead image of crossed hammer and wrench, indicating a technical specialty. On the back side is a clamp with the inscription "MONET DOOR". Such signs were awarded to graduates of universities and institutes in the Soviet Union. Heavy, textured, weighty!
